A unique three-floor house converted from a water tower. The water tower was built in 1960 and then converted to a house in 2017. The view from the top floor is exceptional. The tower is surrounded by lava fields, craters, mountains, coastline and ocean as far as the eye can see.

At the Convereted Water Tower, we do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The stunning three-floor tower (100 sqm) is located a few minutes drive from the Blue Lagoon and the volcano in Geldingadalir. We offer private parking, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, washing machine, and floor heating. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has a real double bed with a high quality mattress and sheets. The master bedroom has a private toilet as well. The second bedroom has two twin beds. It is smaller and is located on the second floor as well. The living area is on the third floor. The kitchen is located there along with the dining and seating area. A flat-screen TV is in the seating area. WiFi is available in the whole house and it’s for free. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. It has a shower and comes with complimentary body and hair products from Sóley. Sóley is an Icelandic company producing organic skin and hair care products from wild herbs.

It doesn’t really matter how the weather is when you want to discover Reykjanes Peninsula. If it is foggy, it’s mystical. If it’s sunny, it’s just perfect.

There are so many interesting places to visit. Among them is Brimketill, Reykjanes Lighthouse, The Lighthouse on Garðskagi, Krýsuvík, Kleifarvatn, the Bridge between Continents, Gunnuhver and Hvalsneskirkja Church.

Remember that neither wind or temperature can be measured on pictures.

Reykjanes Peninsula is also listed as a UNESCO Global Geopark confirming the geological significance of the area.
